Where do sessions take place?
I photograph families across Bristol, Bath, Somerset, Cheltenham and the Cotswolds, so there are plenty of beautiful locations to choose from. Over the years, I've discovered some wonderful spots that are perfect for relaxed, natural photography, and I'm always happy to recommend somewhere that suits your family.
If you already have a place that's special to you, even better. Whether it's your favourite woodland walk, a beach you love, or somewhere you've made memories together, I'm always happy to explore somewhere new. The most meaningful photographs are often taken in places that already feel like home.
What happens if it rains?
Don't worry—we'll keep a close eye on the forecast together. In the week leading up to your session, I'll be checking the weather and we'll decide what feels best.
If rain is forecast, I'll always give you the option to reschedule. I'd much rather you enjoy your session than spend it worrying about the weather!
That said, don't be put off by overcast skies—they're actually a photographer's dream, creating soft, flattering light that's perfect for natural photographs. If you decide to embrace the rain, umbrellas, wellies and raincoats can make for wonderfully fun and memorable images, and we can always make use of sheltered spots along the way.
Can we bring our dog?

I absolutely love it when families bring their four-legged friends along. After all, they're part of the family too! Whether they're bounding through the woods, joining in for cuddles, or stealing the spotlight (which they often do!), they always add so much personality to your photographs.
Just let me know beforehand so I can suggest a dog-friendly location, and we'll make sure they're part of the adventure.
